CO-FOUNDER AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Amber Sabathia is at the helm of her multi-faceted career as a businesswoman, entrepreneur and philanthropist. She is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the PitCCh In Foundation and oversees all aspects of the organization’s operations and charitable giving programs. Having grown up in the inner city and raised by a single mother, Amber learned important life lessons and used them to set certain goals and dreams – to follow your heart and know that anything is possible. These core values led Amber to establish the PitCCh In Foundation, dedicated to building self-esteem and enriching the lives of inner city youth nationwide. In addition to the creation and development of the foundation’s three signature programs and special initiatives, Amber serves on the Board of Directors of the Therapeutic Nursery of the JCC on the Palisades in Alpine, NJ. At the same time she is following her passion and flair for fashion to design and develop her new brand CCandy™, a unique line of branded sports logo-themed clothes for children scheduled to launch in spring 2013. She is married to her high school sweetheart, CC Sabathia, Cy Young Award-winning pitcher for the New York Yankees. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies, and is presently expanding her education by pursuing a certificate in Philanthropy at Heyman College at New York University. If you ask Amber, she would say, “My greatest accomplishment is being a mother of four amazing children, two boys and two girls.”
